Join Sankofa and Hike for Katreena for a Citrus Tree Planting Day Saturday, May 17, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at 2149 Tennessee St. Volunteers will come together to plant grapefruit, satsuma, orange, lemon and lime trees.

We're so thankful for the generous support we received on GiveNOLA Day, May 6. In just 24 hours, we received 40 donations totaling $5,009. Plus, a donation received during the 1 a.m. hour helped us earn an additional $1,000 bonus, bringing our grand total to $6,009.
In total, our community raised over $2 million for GiveNOLA Day!

It takes place Saturday, April 5, 10:30 a.m. and ends with snoballs at the Bayou Bienvenue wetland platform at noon.

CSED was pleased to welcome thirteen volunteers all the way from Japan. This marked the third trip for the volunteers from The University of Kyoto (Kyoto, Japan) and the first trip for Kansai University (Osaka Japan).
